Senior / Principal Civil Engineer
Cambridge
55k- 70k DOE plus benefits
Our client is looking for a Senior / Principal Civil Engineer to join their growing team in Cambridge. They have a multitude of projects at various stages in their project lifecycle, from appraisal through to construction and in several different sectors.
These include residential, leisure, commercial, and retirement & care. Their clients range from local smaller scale businesses to local government, respected regional contractors, national housebuilders, and commercial developers.
The Role:
Lead civil engineering design (drainage, highways, S278/S38)Oversee and mentor junior engineers, supporting ICE progressionManage resources and review design workLiaise with architects, developers, and local authoritiesPrepare fee proposals and uphold quality standardsUse AutoCAD and Site 3D (or equivalent)
About You:
Chartered or working towards CEng (ICE)Degree/HND in Civil EngineeringStrong project and team management experienceSkilled in coordinating with local authorities and stakeholdersConfident handling projects across planning stages
