Description

Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer - Regeneration Manchester / North West

Salary: 50,000- 60,000 + Car Allowance + healthy Bonus

Location: Manchester, Ellesmere Port, North West England

Geo-environmental engineer jobs don't get much more interesting than this.

We're hiring a Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer with a strong contaminated land and remediation background for one of the UK's leading regeneration contractors. Based in the North West, you'll be working on some of the most technically complex remediation projects in the country - including a major PFAS remediation scheme in Manchester and a former oil refinery and petrochemical site at Ellesmere Port.

The Role

This senior geo-environmental engineer position sits at the heart of live project delivery. You'll be involved across the full project lifecycle - Phase 1 desk studies through to Phase 4 validation - with a focus on complex contaminated land assessment, PFAS remediation, groundwater investigation, remediation strategy development, and technical report writing.

Unlike a traditional consultancy role, you'll be contractor-side, meaning real ownership of projects on the ground, direct client and regulator liaison, and a clear path into a Technical Manager position as you develop.

Current projects include:
