The Senior Fire Engineer will lead the development of performance-based fire strategies, working collaboratively with architects, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure safety and compliance without compromising design integrity. The Senior Fire Engineer's Role

Develop and deliver robust fire strategies from concept to handoverApply Approved Document B, BS 9999, BS 9991 and the Building Safety Act in project workUndertake advanced fire engineering calculations and performance-based designCollaborate with multidisciplinary design teams and attend client meetingsLead site inspections, technical reviews, and design appraisalsMentor junior engineers and contribute to internal technical developmentSupport fee proposals and project management on major schemesThe Senior Fire Engineer

Degree in Fire Engineering or a related disciplineMinimum 3 years' experience in a fire consultancy or engineering roleStrong working knowledge of UK fire codes and standardsSkilled in preparing clear and detailed fire strategy reportsExperience with CFD modelling software (e.g. PyroSim, Pathfinder) beneficialChartered or actively working towards MIFireE or CEng statusConfident communicator with a solution-focused mindsetIn Return?
