Looking for more responsibility and the chance to make a real impact? We re looking for an experienced Estimator / Senior Estimator to join a well-established, privately owned Civil Engineering and Building Contractor based in Derby.

This is a great opportunity to join a successful business delivering a diverse range of projects across the Energy, Industrial and Commercial sectors, with work spanning across the UK.

This isn t a role where you ll simply be one of a large team of Estimators. You ll be one of the key Estimators within the business, playing a hands-on role in pricing and securing exciting projects and having a genuine influence on the company s continued growth.

You ll work closely with the wider team from tender through to submission, bringing your commercial expertise, attention to detail and understanding of the construction industry to every opportunity.

What You Will Need Experience estimating for industrial building projectsExperience with small to medium-scale civil engineering projectsKnowledge and experience of drainage worksExperience with concrete structuresStrong understanding of construction contracts, including: NEC3 Options A and BJCTICE Knowledge of measurement and estimating standards, including:Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and quantities to produce accurate estimates CESMMBuilders Quantities Strong commercial awareness with excellent attention to detailAbility to manage multiple tenders and work effectively to deadlinesConfident communicating with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams If you have an Estimating background and you are looking for your next permanent opportunity, I would like to speak to you
