Excellent opportunity for a Senior Electronics Engineer to join an innovative engineering business who are currently in a phase of expansion, where you'll be able to see your designs come to life on the manufacturing floor.

The company are renowned as pioneers within their niche industry; they produce highly technical electronic and electro-mechanical technology for the marine industry. They pride themselves on a great culture and providing a massive amount of technical support for new staff. Due to expansion, a very healthy order book and multi-million-pound projects with blue-chip clients incoming, they are seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to join their close-knit team.
In this role, you'll be working on projects from concept through to completion on the shop floor. You'll take ownership of key electronic design activities across concept development, prototyping, testing, documentation, and support for manufacture. You'll work across both analogue and digital electronics on a range of innovative marine technologies, including acoustic fish deterrent systems, solar-powered net lights and electric pulse devices designed to reduce shark bycatch. You'll receive on-the-job training in their niche industry from experts in the field to equip you with the knowledge needed.

THE ROLE:
Electronic design and development across a range of cutting-edge marine technology productsFull project lifecycle ownership - working throughout the full process from concept and prototyping through to testing and manufactureDesign, prototype, test and troubleshoot analogue and digital electronic circuitsDeveloping new design concepts and improving existing productsComponent selection, system architecture and product performanceSupport testing, validation and product refinement through laboratory and field trialsProduct/Industry TrainingTHE PERSON:
Senior Electronics Engineer - minimum 5 years' experienceStrong analogue and digital electronics experienceProven experience in electronic product design, development and testingDegree/HND or equivalent in Electronics Engineering or related disciplineStrong problem-solving skills with a practical, hands-on approachReference Number - BBBH(phone number removed)
