Salary: 48,000 - 60,000

Are you a Senior Advisory Consultant with strong regulated sector experience looking to influence strategy across major utilities programmes? This Senior Advisory Consultant opportunity in Warrington offers senior-level responsibility, client exposure and progression within a growing advisory team.

A specialist consultancy is expanding its Advisory Services capability, supporting water, energy and wider utilities clients with strategic insight and practical delivery support. As a Senior Advisory Consultant, you will focus on regulatory business planning, asset management strategy, performance improvement and governance across complex infrastructure portfolios. The role combines office working, home working and client visits as required.

The Senior Advisory Consultant will lead advisory projects, mentor junior colleagues and contribute to business development activity, including bids and proposals. You may also be seconded into client organisations where you will provide hands-on strategic support within regulated environments.

Key responsibilities

Support development of regulatory business plans

Develop and implement asset management strategies

Analyse asset data to inform decision-making

Establish governance and assurance frameworks

Lead client workshops and produce high-quality reports

Contribute to bids and advisory growth initiatives

Candidate requirements

4+ years' experience in infrastructure management within water, gas or electricity

Strong understanding of regulated asset management environments

Experience leading projects and supporting junior colleagues

Strong analytical and stakeholder engagement capability

Degree in a related discipline and relevant professional development
