Production Manager Up to 55000 per annum West Hallam Excellent Benefits

As a Production Manager you will lead a team to ensure the daily targets are met in a safe and efficient manner, collaborating with other Supervisors and Managers along the way. You will optimise productivity and uphold safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the activities of your department, including liaising with other departmental supervisors and management to ensure a safe and tidy working environment compliant with Company specification to meet Company and client requirementsManage attendance and timekeeping and escalate when necessaryEnsure compliance with Company Health & Safety regulationsDevelopment and delivery of risk assessmentsCreate SOPs to ensure all tasks within the factory areas have set procedures which are followed by all Production personnelEnsure high standards of housekeeping are metMonitor and achieve productivity targetsEnsure all equipment and tools are in full working orderHold daily briefings and team meetings to keep personnel up to date and on trackProactively communicate with the management team to identify and resolve any arising or identified issueMaintain high standards for working practices, attitudes and behaviours

Knowledge and Experience:

Previous experience of working in a supervisory roleExperience working with concrete or heavy Manufacturing essentialExperience in concrete/pre-cast sector would be beneficial but is not requiredExperience of quality control processesKnowledge of production processes
