Description

Cure Talent are excited to partner with a leading organisation in the medical device industry in their search for a Production Engineer to join their growing team.

As the new Production Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting manufacturing operations by ensuring production equipment is validated, maintained, and operating effectively. You will influence production processes, implement improvements, and ensure all documentation is accurate and compliant. This is a handson role where you will collaborate closely with Engineering, Production, Purchasing, Compliance, and Warehouse teams to deliver high-quality products to specification.

Responsibilities

Validate equipment and processes, including preparing protocols, testing, and reporting

Investigate and resolve production issues affecting product quality in collaboration with the Engineering team

Implement process improvements, including automation, to optimise efficiency and quality

Create, update, and maintain work instructions, SOPs, and risk analyses in line with QMS requirements

Monitor equipment faults and process capability, using data analysis to suggest and implement improvements

Key Requirements

Proven experience in a Production Engineering role within a regulated manufacturing environment

Strong background in equipment and process validation, including documentation and reporting

Ability to implement process improvements and efficiency initiatives

Experience working with Quality Management Systems (QMS), SOPs, and risk management tools

Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence outcomes
