I'm currently working with a well-established planning and development firm based in the Birmingham area, known for delivering innovative, sustainable solutions across a diverse portfolio of projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded Senior Town Planner who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys managing client relationships, overseeing planning applications, and contributing to the strategic direction of high-profile developments.

Leading on complex planning applications and appeals for residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.

Building strong relationships with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders.

Advising on planning policy, site appraisals, and development potential.

Mentoring junior members of the team and contributing to their professional growth.

Keeping up-to-date with changes in planning legislation and market trends.

What We're Looking For:

A degree in Town Planning or a related field (RTPI accredited).

MRTPI qualified (or working towards full membership with strong justification).

Proven experience working in a consultancy or local authority environment.

Strong report writing, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Confidence managing multiple projects and deadlines independently.

Why Apply?

Work with a passionate and experienced team on exciting, varied projects.

Hybrid working model and a supportive, flexible culture.

Competitive salary, bonus structure, and generous benefits package.

Clear progression pathway with tailored CPD opportunities.

Whether you're looking for a step up into a more senior role or simply want a fresh challenge in a thriving team, this opportunity offers real scope for growth and impact.
