Salary: 60,000 - 65,000 + Benefits

Shift Pattern: 4 On 4 Off (Days & Nights)

The Opportunity

A leading UK manufacturer is seeking a skilled Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join its high-performing engineering team at a state-of-the-art production facility in Leeds.

Responsibilities

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activitiesDiagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faultsRespond quickly and effectively to equipment breakdownsSupport continuous improvement initiatives across the siteConduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to reduce recurring equipment failuresMaintain accurate maintenance records using a CMMS systemWork closely with production teams to minimise downtimeEnsure compliance with all Health & Safety procedures

Skills & Experience

Completed Engineering Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, HNC or equivalentPrevious experience within FMCG, food manufacturing, beverage, packaging, pharmaceutical, or other fast-paced manufacturing environmentsStrong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skillsExperience with automated production equipment and PLC-controlled machineryKnowledge of conveyors, motors, drives, sensors, pumps, and pneumaticsExperience using SAP PM, Maximo, Pirana, Shire, CMMS, or similar maintenance systemsAble to work effectively within a 24/7 manufacturing operation
