Our client is a leading global manufacturer in the building products manufacturing industry. They are currently recruiting for a mechanical fitter to ensure minimal downtime and maximum machine availability.

Role & Responsibilities:

Mechanical fault-finding and repairsWorking in a team of mechanical fitter to ensure minimal downtimeEnsuring health and safety regulations are followed at all timesFollowing and completing all planned maintenance schedulesEnsure health & Safety standards are met at all times.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Experience as a mechanical fitter, mechanical engineer or in a similar role.Engineering apprenticeship or similar engineering qualificationKnowledge of preventative and reactive maintenanceMechanical fault finding & servicing skillsHydraulic and pneumatic knowledgeGood time management, problem solving skills and attention to detail
