Location: Gloucester (Field based role)

We are currently looking for a Field Service Engineer for our client who is equired for a highly reputable engineering services supplier specialising in the milling and pelleting industries throughout the UK. The role is based 50% at the Gloucester and 50% travelling to client sites across the UK.

Key Responsibilities Mechanical Field Service Engineer

Deliver maintenance services and repairs to pellet mill equipment in farming biomass energy waste and other milling plant processes across the United KingdomPerform regular maintenance and repairs on equipment while collaborating with the customer to maximise production Visit customer sites alongside service personnel to conduct essential equipment servicing maintenance and repairsIdentify opportunities to enhance customer value by identifying capacity limitations and underperforming equipment and effectively communicate these findings to customers as well as to our engineering and sales team for further actionExhibit time management skills and the ability to meet customer driven deadlinesWork as part of a flexible dedicated self motivated maintenance and servicing teamWorking away from home and occasional weekend work may be requiredA flexible approach in event of breakdowns emergency repairs Qualifications & Requirements Mechanical Field Service Engineer

Expertise in mechanical maintenance is essentialDemonstrate a solid understanding of mechanical principlesPossess practical troubleshooting skills and a solid understanding of preventive maintenanceHold relevant experience in a heavy industrial environmentExperience in maintaining gearboxes bearings etcHold an engineering based qualification or equivalentWelding experience would be preferredFull UK Driving Licence What we can offer Mechanical Field Service Engineer
