Manual Machinist
Middleton
Monday to Thursday: 07:00-16:00
Friday: 07:00-12:00
We are currently recruiting for our client in Middleton for a Manual Machinist. You will be responsible for producing small batches of precision-machined stainless steel valve components for the oil and gas sector using manual milling machines and lathes.
Key Responsibilities
Manufacture components to specification, ensuring compliance with technical drawings.Modify and adapt existing parts as required.
Qualifications & Technical Skills
Essential:
Time-served experience operating manual milling machines.Previous experience in a production environment.Strong engineering background.Proficient in using manual measurement tools.Desirable:
Experience operating manual lathes (Capston, Hardinge, or Colchester).Willingness to learn lathe operation.
