Lead Passive Fire/ Doors Surveyor

Description

We are working with an established passive fire protection contractor looking to appoint an experienced Lead Passive Fire Protection Surveyor.

This is a hands-on position where you will take responsibility for the full surveying process, from initial site inspection through to reporting and supporting project pricing. The role would suit an experienced Passive Fire Surveyor who is comfortable dealing with clients, coordinating surveys and providing technically accurate reports.

ResponsibilitiesCarry out fire compartmentation, fire stopping and fire door surveysOversee and coordinate passive fire surveys across multiple sitesIdentify defects and non-compliant installationsProduce detailed survey reports and recommendationsReview findings against relevant regulations, standards and manufacturer guidancePrepare survey information to support quotations and project pricingCoordinate survey programmes, RAMS, labour and equipmentAttend client meetings and site visitsInvestigate non-conformances and maintain accurate recordsSupport and mentor other surveyors where requiredAssist with tenders and wider business development opportunitiesEnsure works remain compliant with health & safety and quality standardsExperience RequiredPrevious experience surveying passive fire protection worksStrong knowledge of fire stopping, compartmentation and fire doorsPrevious hands-on passive fire installation experienceGood understanding of relevant fire safety regulations and standardsExperience producing technical survey reportsAbility to identify defects and recommend appropriate remedial worksExperience with pricing, estimating or preparing quotations would be advantageousConfident client-facing communication skillsStrong organisational skills and attention to detailThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Passive Fire Surveyor looking to step into a more senior position with greater responsibility for surveys, reporting, technical standards and client relationships.
