Summary
A growing Bristol–based business is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Assistant to support the finance team during a period of increased workload and process improvement.
Responsibilities:
Processing high–volume supplier invoices across multiple cost centresPerforming supplier statement reconciliationsManaging weekly and monthly payment runsInvestigating and resolving invoice and supplier queriesSupporting month–end close activities and accruals preparationIdentifying opportunities to improve AP processes and controls
Suitable backgrounds:
2+ years of Accounts Payable or Purchase Ledger experienceExperience working within a medium to large finance teamStrong reconciliation experiencePrevious exposure to ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Dynamics or NetSuiteComfortable managing a high–volume ledger with minimal supervisionExperience supporting month–end processes would be advantageous
