The Role

We're seeking experienced HVAC Engineers to join our growing operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified engineers looking to work with a reputable FM provider on high-profile client sites, with a strong package and genuine career development opportunities.

You'll be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, ensuring all temperature control and ventilation systems operate efficiently and safely across our client portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Installing HVAC components including pipework, ductwork, and control panelsCarrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on HVAC systemsReactive maintenance, inspections, fault finding, and diagnosticsPerforming quality checks to ensure systems operate efficiently and safelyMaintaining accurate records including daily worksheets, materials used, and site photosBuilding positive working relationships with clients and colleaguesEnsuring all Health & Safety procedures and safe working practices are followedParticipating in out-of-hours on-call service (1 in 4 weeks rota)Essential Requirements

F-Gas certification (mandatory)NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or equivalent (Level 3 preferred)CSCS Card or equivalentFull Clean UK Driving LicenceStrong fault-finding and diagnostic skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent timekeeping and communication skillsPositive, 'can-do' attitude with strong customer service focusDesirable Qualifications

Previous experience in facilities management or building servicesFirst Aid certificateAsbestos Awareness certificateIPAF - Mobile Vertical (3a) + (3b) Mobile BoomPASMA - Mobile Access Tower for UsersUKPIA / SPA Petrol Retail Contractors Safety PassportWhat We Offer

We're looking for qualified HVAC engineers based in or willing to cover the Plymouth/Exeter area. You'll be an experienced professional with strong technical skills in air conditioning and ventilation systems, holding essential F-Gas certification and NVQ Level 3 qualifications.

The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach to maintenance, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the communication skills to represent KSD professionally on client sites.
