Job Description:

TeachMatch Recruitment is seeking a passionate and adaptable History Teacher for a supply position from Easter 2026 The ideal candidate will be able to deliver high–quality lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4, ensuring students are engaged and learning effectively. Strong classroom management and the ability to quickly adapt to different school environments are essential.

Responsibilities:

Deliver lessons in line with the national curriculum.

Manage classroom behaviour and foster a positive learning environment.

Adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.

Collaborate with other staff and contribute to a supportive school culture.

Provide feedback on student progress as required.

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

Strong knowledge of the English curriculum.

Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Previous teaching experience is essential.
