Description
Our client is currently seeking a Health, Safety & Wellbeing Advisor for a contract position. This role will play a pivotal part in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all involved in various projects, whether carried out by internal teams or contractors.
Key Responsibilities:
Developing clear guidance documents, processes, and procedures to ensure safe conducts of workImproving and building upon the existing Health, Safety and Wellbeing (HSW) Management SystemReviewing H&S documents alongside team members and supporting them through site visitsProducing high-quality HSW documentation for sectors such as construction, civils, mining, and utilities/infrastructure projectsDelivering CDM projects, ideally representing either the Client or the Principal ContractorUpskilling team members and promoting a culture of safety and wellbeing
Job Requirements:
Proven experience in Health, Safety, and Wellbeing advising within sectors such as construction, civils, mining, and infrastructureUnderstanding of HSW documentation and processesPractical experience with CDM projectsPossession of a Construction NEBOSH qualification, is essential (NEBOSH Diploma is desirable)Flexibility to travel regularly to various sites primarily across the Midlands and Yorkshire, including trips to the head office in Mansfield Valid driving licence
