Monday Wednesday: 06 30

Thursday: 06 30

Friday: Non-working day

The Role We are looking for a Foundry Operative to join our team. Previous foundry experience is not essential, as full training will be provided.

The ideal candidate will be physically fit, practical, and comfortable working in a dirty and industrial environment. You should have experience working with heavy materials and be confident using a range of hand and power tools.

The role will involve dressing and finishing castings, including grinding, linishing and removing excess material to achieve the required finish.

Key Responsibilities Dressing and finishing metal castings.

Grinding and linishing castings using hand and power tools.

Removing excess metal and imperfections from castings.

Lifting and moving heavy items safely.

Working in a hot, noisy and dirty industrial environment.

Following health & safety procedures at all times.

Maintaining a clean and safe working area.

Working as part of a team to meet production requirements.

The Ideal Candidate Previous foundry experience is not required.

Experience working in a manual, industrial or manufacturing environment is desirable.

Comfortable lifting and handling heavy items.

Experience using hand and power tools.

Practical and hands-on approach to work.

Physically fit and able to carry out repetitive manual tasks.

Comfortable working in a dirty and demanding environment.

Reliable, punctual and hardworking.

Good attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.

Hours Monday Wednesday: 06 30

Thursday: 06 30

Friday: Off
