FLT Combi Driver

Over Head Crane/Combi Location: Tividale

Hours: Monday to Friday, 2:00pm 10:00pm

Pay Rate: GBP13ph - GBP14ph per hour

We are currently recruiting for a OHC/Combi Driver Operative to join a busy and well-established steel processing environment in Tividale. This is a hands-on role within an industrial setting, combining forklift operation with operating saws to cut steel bar to customer specifications.

The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience working with steel and hold a valid 4 Way Reach Forklift licence. This is a busy environment where safety, accuracy and attention to detail are extremely important.

Key Responsibilities Operating a 4 Way Reach Forklift Truck to move and position steel products safelyOperating industrial saws to cut steel bar to specified lengthsLoading and unloading steel materialsMoving heavy steel products around the warehouse and processing areasPreparing steel materials to customer specificationsEnsuring materials are handled and stored safelyCarrying out checks on equipment and reporting any issuesFollowing health and safety procedures at all timesMaintaining a clean and organised working environmentWorking as part of a team to meet daily production and dispatch requirements What We're Looking For Previous experience working with steel or similar heavy materialsValid 4 Way Reach Forklift licence essentialPrevious saw operating experience is highly advantageousExperience loading and unloading heavy materialsComfortable working in a busy industrial environmentGood understanding of health and safety proceduresStrong attention to detail and accuracyReliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a teamPhysically capable of working in a heavy industrial environment If you have previous steel industry experience and hold a 4 Way Reach Forklift licence, this could be an excellent opportunity to join an established specialist steel operation.
