We are seeking a skilled Fixed Wire Tester / Test & Inspection Electrician to join a dedicated electrical division delivering services across a range of commercial properties throughout the London M25 region.

This role is ideal for a qualified electrician with 2391 certification who is looking to maximise earnings through regular overtime, while gaining exposure to a diverse portfolio of commercial environments.

The Role You will carry out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) and fixed wire testing across multiple client sites, ensuring all installations are safe, compliant, and operating efficiently. You will also identify defects, recommend remedial actions, and support ongoing compliance with current electrical standards.

Key Responsibilities Conduct fixed wire testing and EICRs across commercial premises Diagnose faults and clearly outline required remedial works Ensure compliance with BS7671 (18th Edition Wiring Regulations) Accurately complete all certification and reports within deadlines Act as a professional representative of the business on-site Liaise effectively with clients and internal teams Keep accurate records of work completed and vehicle usage Adhere to all health, safety, environmental and quality procedures Requirements City & Guilds 2391 (Test & Inspection) essential 18th Edition Wiring Regulations NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations (or equivalent) Proven experience in fixed wire testing within commercial settings Full UK driving licence Self-motivated with the ability to work independently Package GBP55,000 GBP60,000 basic salary Company van and fuel card Consistent overtime opportunities Monday to Friday, 12:00pm 9:00pm 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays Paid travel time Varied work across a broad commercial client base
