Job Profile for Finance Project Controller CF45988

Our client is currently recruiting for a Project Controller to join their team on a large and complex construction project. The Project Controller will support the Project Director and Project Leadership Team by establishing and maintaining effective project control systems to ensure successful project delivery.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Project Controls Manager and will support the management of project financial performance, reporting, and coordination across multiple disciplines including cost, planning, estimating, and risk management. This role will play a key part in ensuring accurate project reporting, performance monitoring, and strategic decision making across the project lifecycle.

Project Controller Position Overview

Monitoring project performance through Earned Value Management (EVM), KPIs and performance dashboardsSupporting the Project Controls Manager with project cost control, financial monitoring and reportingActing as a point of contact for pricing, cost control, planning/scheduling and risk analysisProviding coordination between design, cost control, planning, and estimating functionsProducing monthly reports, project dashboards and performance updates for senior leadership and stakeholdersProviding project control insights to support strategic decision making and lessons learnedSupporting project reviews and senior-level meetings to manage project performance and deliveryStructuring project requirements and managing changes to contract scopeSupporting risk management activities, including risk identification, assessment, mitigation and monitoringDeveloping and maintaining project organisational structures and reporting frameworksMaintaining project schedules in collaboration with project plannersSupporting the collaboration team with production and updating of project deliverables and documentationCommunicating with stakeholders, joint venture partners, internal teams and clients on project control mattersProject Controller Position Requirements

Degree in Business, Finance/Accounting, Construction Management, Engineering or related disciplineUnderstanding of project scheduling, cost forecasting and senior level reportingExperience working on Design & Construct projectsKnowledge of construction techniques and project delivery processesExperience with Excel queries and Power BIUnderstanding of BIM and document management systemsExperience working on large complex construction projects would be advantageousJoint venture project experience would be advantageousPractical experience working with NEC contracts and change management would be advantageousCSCS Card - Manager or Academically QualifiedFull UK Driving LicenceProject Controller Position Remuneration
