You ll be the engineer on site across London s airports, finding and fixing faults on specialist aviation ground support equipment.

This is a role where you plan your own day, take ownership of every job and keep building specialist hydraulic and mechanical skills.

Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on aircraft ground support equipment at customer sitesDiagnosing and repairing mechanical and hydraulic faults on siteInspecting, servicing and repairing hydraulic equipment such as aircraft jacks and tripodsCompleting accurate service reports and customer documentation on a tabletMaking sure all work meets UK safety regulations and industry standardsProviding a professional, high standard of customer service on site As a Field Service Engineer, your experience will include:

A strong background in field service, mechanical or hydraulic maintenance and repairConfident fault finding and diagnostics on mechanical and hydraulic systemsExperience working on site at customer premisesA full manual UK driving licenceThe ability to pass airport pass vetting, which needs a 5-year work or education history with referencesExperience with aviation ground support equipment, LOLER or an NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering would be an advantage If you re a Field Service Engineer who likes being out on the road, trusted to get the job done right and building real specialist expertise, this role gives you all three.
