Are you a mechanically biased Service Engineer who might be thinking about using your engineering skills and experience in a different capacity?

One of the most professional, agile, family-led Lift Service companies in South London is seeking an experienced Service Engineer to join their incredible team and cross train into the World of Lift Engineering

You'll be part of a growing company with a 25-year heritage and a fantastic reputation. You'll be working in a company which genuinely cares about their people and their customers.

About The Role

The ideal candidate should possess a solid Mechanical, or Electro-Mechanical background, and the desire to cross train and apply their skills to the Lift industry. This is a permanent, full time opportunity, Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm

Your primary duties will include

Undertake routine and periodic maintenance at a variety of client sitesPromptly responding to periodic emergency service calls from clientsCorrectly diagnosing any repair requirements and (where possible), conduct on-site repairsReplace, maintain, and service all necessary equipment, machinery, and systemsProviding technical support and guidance to clients on maintenance and usage of equipmentDocument all service and repair activities accurately and maintaining detailed recordsCollaborating with other team members and departments to ensure seamless service delivery

Requirements

Proven experience as a Service Engineer or an Electro/Mechanical Engineer, preferably gained within the lift (or similar) industry, or a similar fieldAn appropriate Mechanical / Electro-Mechanical qualification (HNC, HND, BTech, NVQ - or equivalent. EOR202 (Desirable)Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing equipment, machinery, and systemsStrong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues effectivelyAbility to work independently and as part of a teamValid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites as neededFull UK driving licence
