Field Service Engineer

Our Client in Basildon, Essex are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Service Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.

They are a family-owned business with a proud history of supplying and servicing high quality machinery for the flat glass and stone industries.

The right candidate for this position will be mechanically minded, hard working and self motivated.

The working hours are, Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day with optional overtime.

Due to the nature of this role, they will require someone with flexibility as hours may change depending on the needs of the business.

Duties will include:

Installation, servicing and repair of flat glass processing machinery.Full support and product training working alongside other Service Engineers. You will be required to attend training at other premises in Italy and Spain.Working primarily within and around the M25 area, with occasional overnight stays across the UK. If required to stay overnight accommodation will be supplied with all expenses covered. The ideal candidate:

Strong mechanical and electrical fault finding abilities Excellent communication skills, fluent in English Ability to work alone as well as part of a team Full UK driving License Based locally to their Basildon officeComputer literate Benefits:
