Job Title: Fabricated Welder (Heavy Steel)

Location: Wednesbury

Pay Rate: 15.00 - 17.50 per hour (DOE)

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday

Overtime: Available

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Fabricated Welder with a strong background in working with heavy steel. The ideal candidate will be confident in reading technical drawings, fabricating components to specification, and delivering high-quality welds in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Fabricate and weld heavy steel components to precise specifications.Interpret and work from engineering drawings and blueprints.Operate welding equipment safely and efficiently (MIG/TIG experience preferred).Perform quality checks to ensure compliance with standards.Maintain a clean and safe working environment.Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Fabricated Welder, particularly with heavy steel.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.Strong MIG welding skills (TIG experience advantageous).Knowledge of fabrication techniques and tools.Attention to detail and commitment to quality.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
