Events Electrical Supervisor
Location: Solihull (with flexibility to work across client venues)
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Events Electrical Supervisor to join our Events Team, supporting the delivery of electrical design and stand wiring services for exhibitions and events where our client acts as the general contractor.
In this role, you will lead the planning, design, and coordination of temporary electrical mains, ensuring all installations are completed safely, professionally, and in line with industry standards. You will work closely with operations teams to deliver seamless event services and supervise a small team responsible for preparing and maintaining exhibition equipment.

Key Responsibilities
Design and oversee installation of stand wiring and temporary mains for events and exhibitions.Review exhibitor and organiser requirements to ensure accurate electrical planning and delivery.Supervise and support the operational team, including training and development.Maintain strong communication with internal teams and external clients.Ensure all work complies with QHSE standards, risk assessments, and method statements.Promote a safe working environment in line with company and client policies.Work flexibly across client venues as required.
About You
Qualifications & Experience
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical EngineeringCity & Guilds 18th EditionExperience in the exhibition industry (essential)Forklift Truck Licence (required)Full UK Driving LicenceProficient with Microsoft OfficeFamiliar with CAD design plansSkills & Attributes
Strong communication and interpersonal skillsProactive approach with the ability to build confidence and trustHighly organised with excellent attention to detailAbility to manage variation in workload and shifting prioritiesIntegrity, motivation, and self-awarenessWillingness to work flexible hours based on event schedules
