Salary: GBP60,000 per year

We are a dynamic food manufacturing business based in Cornwall, and we are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to join us at an exciting time. This is a unique opportunity to oversee two sites side by side, leading a small but critical team and ensuring our operations run smoothly.
The Role
As Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for managing 3 engineers and a machine operator, maintaining machinery and equipment across both sites, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to support production growth.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading and mentoring a small engineering team Planning and managing maintenance schedules across two sites Troubleshooting and resolving machinery and equipment issues Driving efficiency improvements and cost-effective solutions Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and quality standards Supporting installation of new equipment and factory expansion projects What We re Looking For
Proven experience in engineering management in a manufacturing environment, ideally food production or FMCG Strong leadership and team management skills Hands-on approach with the ability to troubleshoot complex machinery Excellent organisational and planning abilities Passion for process improvement and driving high standards Why Join Us?
