Electrical Design Engineer - Open only to Full UK Citizens living and working in the UK
Location: Near Stowmarket, Suffolk

My client seeks an CAD Design Engineer to take a key role in developing electrical schematics, control panels and wiring systems. This role offers technical variety, hands-on collaboration with manufacturing teams, and the opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement and product innovation.
What you ll do
Create detailed electrical schematics, panel layouts & wiring diagrams Produce project documentation (BOMs, cable schedules, terminal plans) Work closely with project managers & cross-functional teams Support manufacturing with technical input & design queries Ensure compliance with industry standards (IEC/UL/EN) Participate in design reviews & improvement initiatives What you ll bring
Proven CAD design experience Strong understanding of electrical systems & industrial automation Ability to interpret standards & apply best practice Strong problem-solving mindset & high attention to detail Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering (advantageous) Why join?
