De‑installation Operative - Andover

Full‑time | £27,000 + Benefits | Monday-Friday

Are you practical, hands-on, and ready for a role that takes you to different sites across the UK and Europe? We're looking for a motivated De‑installation Operative to join a busy on‑site engineering team, supporting the safe removal, movement, and detailing of telecoms and IT equipment.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys physical, active work, travelling during the week, and working as part of a close-knit operational team.

What You'll Be Doing

Site Equipment De‑installations

De‑installing telecoms and technical equipment

Recovering redundant cabling and infrastructure

Loading/unloading equipment and organising stock in staging areas

Preparing equipment for transportDeliveries & Collections

Assisting with equipment deliveries to work sites

Collecting and transporting stock between client sites and warehouses

Supporting recycling movements and rack collectionsAsset Detailing

Recording serial numbers and completing stock labelling

Helping with stock takes and inventory counts

Preparing equipment for recycling or warehouse transferWhat We're Looking For

Experience in a telecoms or IT/technical environment (beneficial, not essential)

Strong manual handling ability

Great team player with the ability to work independently

Good attention to detail and accuracy

Basic PC skills (Word & Excel)

Full UK driving licence

Ability to carry out physical tasks safely, sometimes involving heavy equipmentAbout the Role Environment

You'll be mostly working offsite at customer premises across the UK and sometimes Europe. This includes staying away from home Monday to Thursday when required. You'll be part of a supportive team working in varied, practical environments where no two days look the same.
