CNC Machinist (Miller)

We are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist (Miller) to join our team working to EN9100 standards in the aerospace and defence sectors.

Location: Brentwood Essex Salary: GBP17 - GBP22 per hour (depending on experience) Full time / Permanent Day shift: 39 hours per week Monday to Thursday 8am 4.30pm / Friday 8am -3.30pm Benefits:

To set and operate CNC milling machines.

Produce accurate, high quality components with maximum efficiency Competently set and operate Mazak CNC horizontal and vertical machining centres Work to tight tolerances and check your own work meets the required standards To work on your own initiative and understand all aspects of the manufacturing processes Quality check your finished components Clean and maintain CNC machine and all associated equipment and machine area. Working to EN9100 standards Core skills/attributes needed:

Fully skilled/experienced/time served CNC setter/operator Experience on horizontal and/or vertical milling machines Programming experience would be an advantage but not essential Ability to interpret engineering drawings Able to use a wide variety of measuring equipment (Micrometers/calipers/gauges) Be able to concentrate and produce quality finished components Ability to pay attention to detail Able to apply good practical skills and to follow written instructions Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team Able to work safely and follow all health and safety protocols
