CNC Programmer/Operator Location: Hyde, Cheshire Pay Rate: GBP17.50-GBP19.50 per hour

Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent

Hunters 4 Staff are assisting our client in Hyde to seek an experienced CNC Programmer and Machine Operator.

Our client are a friendly, family-run precision engineering team who are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to work on sliding head CNC machines (Star with Fanuc control) and fixed head turning machines.

Key Responsibilities: Set, operate, and programme CNC lathes Work from drawings to produce high-quality components in metals and plastics Carry out in-process inspections to ensure accuracy Requirements: Experience with sliding head CNC lathes (Star preferred) and Fanuc controls Knowledge of fixed head turning (Doosan experience is a plus) Ability to read technical drawings and work to tight tolerances CNC Turning: 2 years (required) Sliding Head and/or multi-axis/multi-turret experience essential Benefits: Competitive pay (dependent on experience) Secure, long-term role in a supportive, small-team environment Varied work across different materials and industries Nearby towns and cities include Manchester, Stockport, and Ashton-under-Lyne.
