We are looking for an experienced CMM Inspector to join the Quality team within a precision machining division supplying components into Motorsport, Automotive, and Defence sectors. This is a great opportunity for a confident, detail-focused inspector to work closely with the Engineering team on a variety of high-spec, high-throughput components.

The Role:

Carry out visual and dimensional inspection of components to required quality standards Perform CMM inspection using Aberlink software Generate CMM programs to measure components in CNC mode Manually measure parts using verniers, micrometres, gauges and callipers Work with a range of materials including aluminium, steel, castings and cast iron Write CofCs, ISIRs and FAIRs, and raise concessions where required Document quality issues and report non-conformances Compile detailed inspection reports Read and interpret technical drawings, geometric features and tolerances (GD&T) What We're Looking For:

Proven CMM inspection experience, ideally with Aberlink software Experience generating CMM programs Strong understanding of GD&T Confident reading technical engineering drawings Comfortable working with hand tools/gauges as well as CMM equipment Manual handling training/lifting equipment experience desirable (training provided if needed) Methodical, accurate, and able to work well within a busy engineering team What's On Offer:
