This role is ideal for someone looking to broaden their experience across roads, drainage and infrastructure design while contributing to a range of public and private sector development projects. As a Civil Engineer, you will support the design, planning and delivery of civil engineering solutions for residential and mixed use schemes. You will prepare road and drainage designs using industry standard software, assist with flood risk work, contribute to planning submissions and liaise with regulators, clients and contractors throughout each project's lifecycle. This position offers a clear pathway for professional development within a supportive and collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities

Assist as Project or Assistant Project Engineer on small and medium scale civil engineering projects.

Prepare and check road and drainage design using PDS, Windes or similar tools.

Support the production of Flood Risk Assessments and water main designs for submission to Scottish Water.

Monitor budgets, programmes and quality of technical outputs.

Coordinate approvals with regulators and liaise with clients and design teams.

Conduct infrastructure surveys and prepare technical reports.

Support site inspections, reviewing contractor proposals and method statements.

Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development.

Assist in risk assessments and support Principal Designer duties under CDM.

Why Apply?

You will work on varied civil and housing projects, gain exposure to both design and site delivery, and progress your career within a friendly consultancy offering strong technical development and long term opportunities.
