About your new company

My client, a well–established commercial vehicle maintainer is actively seeking to add a fully skilled, experienced and qualified Chassis Engineer to their team.

Chassis Engineer Requirements: Demonstrated experience working as a vehicle mechanic or chassis engineer, ideally with commercial vehiclesStrong understanding of light commercial vehicles up to 3.5 tonnesFamiliarity working with manufacturers such as Iveco, Mercedes, Renault, Ford, and NissanCapable of completing MOT preparation work to a high standardSolid diagnostic and problem–solving abilitiesFull UK driving licence is essentialRelevant qualifications, such as NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent), are advantageousChassis Engineer General Duties:Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and inspections on 3.5–tonne commercial vehiclesIdentify, diagnose, and repair mechanical and chassis–related issuesPrepare vehicles for MOT testing, ensuring compliance with all legal requirementsCarry out repairs on braking, suspension, steering, and underbody systemsUse diagnostic equipment to support fault–finding when necessaryDeliver all work to a high standard within agreed deadlinesKeep accurate and up–to–date service and repair documentationFollow all health and safety guidelines and maintain workshop standardsChassis Engineer Benefits Opportunities for training and development22 days holiday plus bank holidays.Annual holiday increaseCompany pension schemeSick payFree on–site parkingNext Steps:
