Description

We are working with an award-winning, multidisciplinary engineering practice that prides itself on close collaboration with architects to deliver intelligent, innovative buildings.

We are seeking a Revit / CAD Technician specialising in MEP with 2+ years experience, keen to develop technical skills while contributing to live projects across a range of building types. Candidates should hold, or be working towards, an HND, BEng, or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.

The Role

You will work closely with senior engineers and technicians to support the delivery of high-quality, coordinated MEP designs. Training and development will be provided to help you grow your technical skillset. Key responsibilities include:

Producing Revit and CAD drawings, BIM models, and project deliverables under guidance

Developing and maintaining Revit families and contributing to project templates

Running clash detection and coordinating models across disciplines

Assisting in the preparation of schedules and technical documentation

Attending internal project meetings and providing updates on model progress and coordination

Applying principles of sustainable design, energy efficiency, and low-carbon solutions in deliverables

Supporting construction documentation and detailing, considering materials, systems, and UK building regulations

Helping maintain consistent standards and documentation across projects

About You

2+ years experience in building services, MEP, or mechanical/electrical engineering environment

Working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD

Enthusiasm for sustainable design, energy-efficient systems, and low-carbon building solutions

Basic understanding of mechanical and/or electrical systems and construction techniques

Interest in developing a long-term career in building services consultancy

Comfortable working collaboratively within a design-led studio environment

Proactive, curious, and eager to learn from experienced engineers
