Building Services Electrician
Nottingham

We are currently recruiting for a large manufacturing plant just on the outskirts of Nottingham. The role is part of the maintenance team who are looking for a qualified building services electrician (ideally apprentice trained) to assist with the general maintenance and service of the factory, ensuring the safety and general appearance of the buildings and surrounding areas.
Typical Duties and Responsibilities:
General buildings upkeep and fabric maintenance.
Accountable for providing full planned maintenance, breakdown and repair to all site facilities.
Also assisting with first line maintenance of fixtures and fittings, examples: tightening screws on window hinges, maintenance on door handles, re-hanging doors and other minor building repairs. Plumbing: un-blocking sinks, traps and waste pipes.
Preferred Skills:
Apprentice trained; time served with a minimum Level 3 qualification.
Ability to prioritise and problem solve.
Health and safety awareness.
The ability to be self-motivated and flexible.
