Responsibilities and duties of the 132kV Mechanical Fitter role

Reporting to the engineering manager you will:

Assemble HV equipment up to 132kVCarry out testing, inspection and compliance checksCarry out oxy–propane brazing and exothermic welding where neededAdhere to strict health and safety site regulationsBe prepared to stay away most weeks Monday–Friday

Professional qualifications

No formal qualifications required but we are looking for someone with the following experience:

5+ years experience as a 132kV fitterExperienced in assembling, testing and preparing HV equipment prior to energisationExperienced with oxy–propane brazing and exothermic weldingJIB/ECS gold card is highly desirable2391–52 testing & inspection is highly desirable
