Location: Cambridge (CB22)

Duration: Temporary but with the potential to go temp to perm

Hours: 8am - 4pm, Monday - Friday but can be flexible

Salary: £16.92 per hour

Polytec are looking for a detail orientated Quality Inspector to join our south Cambridge based client. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring products and materials meet required quality standards, customer specifications and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

- Carry out final product and pre-shipment inspections

- Inspect products against drawings, specifications and customer requirements

- Complete accurate inspection records and quality documentation

- Identify, document and report non-conforming products and materials

- Review manufacturing and inspection records for accuracy and completeness

- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and internal quality procedures

- Monitor workmanship standards including IPC requirements where applicable

- Support Goods Inwards inspection when required

- Participate in internal audits and continuous improvement activities

Requirements

- Previous experience within a manufacturing or quality inspection environment

- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy

- Good computer skills and experience maintaining quality records

- Good written and verbal communication skills

- Well organised xjnqpsq with good time management skills

- Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

- Proactive approach with the confidence to escalate issues when required

Desirable

- Experience within a precision or technology-focused manufacturing environment

- Knowledge of IPC and ISO quality standards

- Experience using inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers and gauges
