Production Technician
Location: Near Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk
£14.50 per hour | Mon-Fri, 8:00-5:00
We are recruiting for a hands-on Production Technician to join a specialist engineering manufacturer supporting the assembly and testing of bespoke electro-mechanical products.
This role involves mechanical/electrical assembly, working from engineering drawings, and carrying out in-process and final quality checks in a controlled production environment. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety are essential.
Key Requirements
Experience in a manufacturing, assembly, or test environment
Ability to read engineering drawings and follow build instructions
Strong practical skills with hand tools and precision assembly
High standards of workmanship and quality focus
Able to work independently following training
Essential Qualification
Must hold a recognised qualification in live electrical testing (including three-phase systems)
Proven experience working safely with live electrical equipment is essentialThis role supports the production of a newly developed product for critical infrastructure applications, forming part of an initial build phase that is key to future global rollout.
