Salary: Up to £15.19 per hour (including shift allowance)

Job Type: Permanent

Shift Options

Early Shift

Mon – Thu: 06:00 – 14:15

Fri: 06:00 – 14:00

Late Shift (Twilight) – 4 Day Week

Mon – Thu: 13:00 – 23:00

Includes 15% shift allowance and a 3-day weekend every week

Overview

Syntech Recruitment are partnering with a well-established electronics manufacturer in Andover who are expanding their production team and looking to recruit Electronics Inspectors.

This role sits within a high-quality PCB assembly environment where you will be responsible for inspecting electronic assemblies to ensure products meet strict customer and industry standards.

Working with both visual inspection techniques and automated test equipment, you will play a key role in maintaining the quality and reliability of advanced electronic products.

Key Responsibilities

* Inspection of PCB and electronic assemblies to ensure quality standards are met

* Performing detailed visual inspections using microscopes

* Identifying solder defects, component placement issues, and assembly faults

* Following digital inspection instructions and quality procedures

* Recording inspection results using internal systems

* Supporting production teams to ensure consistent product quality

Experience Required

* Previous experience in electronics inspection or PCB assembly

* Comfortable performing microscope inspection for detailed work

* Strong attention to detail and quality awareness

* Ability to follow technical instructions and procedures

* Basic computer literacy for digital work instructions

Desirable Experience

* AOI (Automated Optical Inspection)

* Flying Probe testing

* X-Ray inspection

* IPC certification or electronics fault finding
