Panel Wireman Salary: £16-£18 per hour

Hours: Monday – Friday 37.5 hours per week

Pattern: 4.5-day working week

Flexible start/finish times on full days

Early finish at 12:00 on Fridays

Orion is partnered with a well-established electrical manufacturing business, which is recruiting for an experienced Panel Wireman to join their growing team.

Panel Wireman Responsibilities

Electrical panel wiring and assembly

Cabinet/box building

Direct-to-panel wiring and point-to-point connections

Wiring up to gear plates and mounting plates

Reading and working from electrical drawings and schematics

Crimping, termination and cable preparation

Installing fuses, meters and associated panel components

Working to high quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Carrying out quality checks to ensure builds meet specification

Panel Wireman Experience

Previous experience in electrical panel wiring or panel assembly

Previous cabinet/box building experience

Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings

Strong crimping, wiring and termination skills

Experience wiring control panels, gear plates or distribution panels

Electrical qualification to at least Level 2 or equivalent
