History Teacher - Salford
Start: After February Half Term
Duration: Until the end of the academic year
Contract: Full-time
An ambitious secondary school in Salford is looking to appoint a dedicated History Teacher to join their Humanities team after February half term.
The department is passionate about developing critical thinking and encouraging students to question, analyse and debate. You'll be joining a team that values collaboration and has clear schemes in place, meaning you can focus on delivering engaging lessons rather than starting from scratch.
You'll teach across KS3 and KS4, supporting students with varying abilities and helping Year 11 students feel confident heading into their exams.
The school is seeking someone who:
Has QTS and experience teaching History
Can create engaging, discussion-led lessons
Maintains high expectations for behaviour and progress
Is reflective and open to feedbackThis is a stable, longer-term supply role offering consistency through to the end of the academic year.
