Description
Electric Brompton Folding Bike. Equivalent of the current C-line.
The Good Stuff: Brompton quality, with electrification. Perfect for commuting by train. Purchased new in 2022 (for about £2,500), so the frame is still within the 7-year warranty. In generally good working order. Sold with the larger bag, smaller bag (not pictured) charging cables and instruction manual. It’s been serviced twice at Mud Dock.
The Not So Good Stuff (reflected in the price):
1. The hub gear system is missing a part, so currently only 2 of the 12 gears are available. In practice, I’ve not found that to be a problem–even going up steep hills–because of the motor. As a result, I’ve never looked into replacing or fixing it, but I imagine it would be relatively cheap and easy to fix.
2. It’s done a few miles and could generally do with some TLC, but nothing out of the ordinary (chain, mudguards, brakes).
