Ducati’s Multistrada 1200 was an instant success, receiving rave reviews from the motorcycle press, with MCN describing it at the time as “simply brilliant”. This is the first edition of the premium Pikes Peak model, making it a particularly special and sought-after version.From the factory it came equipped with semi-active electronic Öhlins suspension, which adjusts to road conditions as you ride, reducing dive under heavy braking and allowing fine adjustment across the four riding modes to suit individual preferences.

As far as we are aware, this is the only machine of this vintage currently available for sale. Being the premier Pikes Peak edition, it also comes with carbon air intakes, front mudguard, hugger and belt covers, heated grips, carbon Termignoni exhaust, Ducati panniers, rear rack, CNC Racing filler cap, centre stand and Puig tinted sports screen.

It also comes with the very appropriate personalised registration PP12 BAD, which suits the Pikes Peak model perfectly.

It was supplied new in August 2012 but barely turned a wheel for the first four years, having covered only 505 miles when sold to its second owner in March 2016. The mileage was still a modest 14,099 miles when we sold it to the current owner, and it now stands at just 16,397 miles, making this a very low-mileage example for its age.

The service record shows five main dealer services to date. The first was completed by M&S Ducati at 505 miles in March 2016, followed by Ducati Pro-Team at 4,327 miles in November 2016 and again at 7,930 miles in December 2017. We completed the crucial full Desmo valve service at 14,099 miles when it was sold to the current owner in September 2021. More recently, Chris Walker Ducati completed a service at 15,222 miles in June 2025, including a new set of belts, fork oil, battery, oil and filter, and brake fluid.

You will see from the pictures that it is in superb condition throughout and with the exception of a couple of light stones chips in the lacquer on the beak and a couple of light scuffs to the panniers is pretty much perfect.

It is supplied with the original owner pack which includes master ignition, pannier & Red code keys, Service book with some corresponding receipts & Owner books and V5 Log book, it is HPI clear and will be supplied with a new 12 month MOT as well as a 3 month guarantee.
