Description
Selling my old Gretsch Catalina Club drum kit for £50.
This kit has had a very well-travelled life — it’s been toured around the country and used for teaching for years, so it is very beaten up cosmetically. There are plenty of scuffs, marks and wear to the shells, and it could definitely do with a good clean. The skins currently fitted are used as well.
That said, it still functions as a drum kit and would make a great cheap practice/teaching kit. I'm being completely honest about the condition, hence the low price.
Included:
20" bass drum
14" floor tom
14" snare
12" mid tom
10" high tom
Hi-hat stand – works fine but is a little fiddly
Cymbal boom stand – missing the wingnut
Snare drum stand
Drum throne – has scuffs and tears
Free music stand
Free selection of used drum skins that fit the kit
Things to be aware of:
No cymbals
No bass drum pedal
Bass drum is missing one leg, so it will roll around unless it is propped against something
Cymbal boom stand is missing its wingnut
Hi-hat stand works but is a little fiddly
Drum throne has visible scuffs and tears
Lots of cosmetic damage, scuffs and marks from years of use and touring
Probably a bit dusty and could do with a clean
Around 15 years old
I'm only selling because I used to use it for teaching and have now stopped teaching. I already have another kit that I use for touring, so this one is no longer getting used.
£50 – collection only from Woking.
Ideal for someone who wants a cheap practice kit, a teaching kit, a project/restoration kit, or just needs a set of drums without spending much.
Sold as seen – please look at the photos carefully and feel free to ask any questions or if you need any more pictures, don't hesitate to ask.
