In contrast to the DD200X, the DD220X offers an enhanced playing experience through the inclusion of a 10" snare. The increase in size enhances the realism of the kit by recreating the similar response of hitting a snare. Coming complete on its own snare arm, you'll be free to adjust its placement to find the drum set-up that's right for you.
Another key upgrade on the DD220X is the kick drum. Instead of a footswitch style pedal, the drum kit provides an 8" mesh pad that helps to mimic the feel of a traditional kick drum. This can be easily attached to the frame via the include mounting bracket, allowing the pad to remain firmly in place at all times - even for the most animated performers.

Whilst most electronic drum kits in this price range include rubber drum pads, the DD220X boasts mesh. Specifically chosen for the realistic stick response and bounce they provide, you'll find this is closer to the feel you'd get when hitting an acoustic drum kit.
