Yard Operative vacancy in Newport

Salary: Up to £13.50 per hour, negotiable pending experience.

Hours: 7:30am-5:00pm Monday to Friday. Some flexibility can be offered around these hours.

Benefits: Great holiday entitlement and genuine progression opportunities with a large accident repair centre.Our client, a large multi-site automotive accident repair group based across the whole of the UK, is currently looking to recruit a Yard Operative to join their centre in Newport.

Reporting to the Site Operations Manager and Assistant Manager, your key responsibility will be to ensure the site is safe & clean for our clients, workshop staff, and their customers to navigate. This role will involve vehicle movement, standard cleaning, support driving where required, speaking and advising customers on site, ensuring waste is disposed of and various other ad-hoc duties.

This role requires a full clean UK driving license with minimal points. Overall, you will have the ability to understand the necessity of excellent standards of customer service, have a friendly and approachable personality with a willingness to go the extra mile, and be able to work to deadlines with good timekeeping skills.
