Description

We are seeking an experienced Workshop Supervisor for a full-time, permanent role in the Automotive Engineering industry.

This is a permanent role from the outset. Working hours are 8am to 430pm Monday to Friday.

Role Purpose:

* Lead a team of technicians to work to the highest levels of safety, quality and efficiency whilst following the company’s standard.

Job Duties:

* Responsible for ensuring the team’s adherence to a production schedule is in line with the customer requirements and the overall needs of the business.

* Ensure that the remanufacturing function is cost effective – monitoring the human, material and capital resources in the correct way to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.

* Ensure that all company procedures are adhered to – these include health and safety, Quality and standard operating procedures.

* Maintain a structured and organized work environment at all times.

* Maintain the highest possible personal standards at all times.

* Help to ensure that the team are producing work of a consistently high quality whilst working efficiently and effectively.

Candidate Specification:

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

* Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task.

* Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular).

* Knowledge of QHSE Legislation.
