Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Workshop Controller to join our client's reputable dealership in Helston, Cornwall. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with leadership skills to oversee daily workshop operations, manage a team of vehicle technicians, and deliver exceptional customer service within a busy automotive environment.

Competitive basic salary of £30,000 per annum

On-target earnings (OTE) approximately £37,000

Support towards manufacturer training and progressionDuties of a Workshop Controller:

Oversee and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the workshop

Allocate work efficiently to ensure timely completion of repairs and servicing

Maintain high standards of quality and adherence to workshop KPIs

Liaise with customers, providing updates and ensuring customer satisfaction

Manage labour sales to meet and exceed revenue targets as a Workshop Controller

Lead and motivate the workshop team to optimise performance and productivity

Ensure health and safety standards are maintained within the workshop environmentRequirements of a Workshop Controller:

Previous experience as a Workshop Controller or in a similar supervisory role within a busy workshop environment

Experience in a car or commercial dealership is essential

Service advisors or experienced technicians with leadership qualities will also be considered

Excellent organisational and communication skills

Able to lead, motivate, and develop a team effectively
